Dear Friends,

Every have too much of a good thing? Pizza, for example, that happens to everyone. If you eat to much pizza, eventually you get sick of it.

Well, for my good buddy Charlie and I, we had reached that limit with Scottsdale Skatepark. So, in turn, we headed over to Union Hills Skate Plaza (Glendale) for a couple days.

We met some interesting characters! Chan, the Cambodian Usher. Dat, the Neon Asian. Any many more.

So after a couple days of seshing the park, we packed up our gear and headed for home. I sat down at my trusty iMac and cooked up this monty for you all. Enjoy!

We all have to start somewhere right? For me, it was with a Canon Zr850 and a Vanessa Carlton Song.

I still feel this song went absolutely perfect and would very happy to use it again, so look for it in an upcoming montage.

This is the first montage I ever made, it was filmed a little bit over 7 months ago. Looking back on it there were so many rookie errors in the editing! Oh Well, Hope you guys enjoy a quick blast from the past!

Tell me, what is better than being positive about life? Being upbeat? Taking things in stride? If the world’s people thought positive, how different would it be? I know these seem like big words and big hype for a small time video like this, but it doesn’t matter to me.

The video is called Positive Vibes, and it’s set to be released in early 2009. It is starring Chase Young, Isaac Jacquez, James Schwartz, Sam Verbanic, and many more. These names may sound new to you, but keep your eyes peeled for them. They are on the come up.

I hope somehow this video will become a hit. But overall, this video is just a group of kids who decided to get together and make a video. No pressure, no extra equipment, just a group of friends with a camera and a sick variety of tricks. Enjoy.

I don’t know about where you all live, but out here in Arizona, the summer’s are straight up brutal! The worst part of it all, get this, NO INDOOR SKATEPARKS! Luckily, one man named Jeff Eaton had a vision, a goal, create a place for a specially designated group of skateboarders to skate in the summer without sweating buckets!

This park is almost as exclusive as you can get. Literally, it is 10,000 square feet and every time you arrive, the park is virtually empty. The most people I have ever seen at this place is less than 10. On the day we filmed this (March 30th) the park was empty except for Gage Hellyer, Sam Verbanic, Chad Kwiatkowsk, Justin and Carter Cymbalski, Aaron Snyder, and myself.

Seven kids + 10,000 square feet of pure shreddage + 2 hours of filming = this short montage! Also, check out Gage’s flickr for the photos from this session!!

As of now, I’m sitting in Business Tech Class after school writing my first blog to you all.

Where to start? The basics of course! My name is Robbie, I’m a 15 year old kid from the mean suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. I am a wannabe photographer and a wannabe videographer.

I film with a Sony vx2100 and shoot with a Nikon D40 on occasion. I prefer filming, so when we head out to street spots I let my home boy Gage Hellyer take care of the photographer.
